Neus

I love cold weather! As a knitter it gives meaning to my life, making my creations more useful. I know you can knit garments and accesories for summer, sometimes I do, but in winter the possibiliteis are so wide: scarves, sweaters, gloves, like this one

It's knitted with katia austral, to match clokwork, although they only have in common one colour, and 3mm needles. Cozy, cozy.

The first one was fast to knit so I think it's brother will be with us in a couple of days.

Spiral mittens

I finished the mittens! And also the pattern to make them.

They are fun to knit, and the shorter version is fast and uses less than one ball of yarn: perfect to use up left overs.

What's interesting about them is their construction, they are made in a spiral way, you knit a strap back and forth and attach each section as you go, so no sewing.

I've uploaded the file to Ravelry, you can get it here if you'd like.

For the hands

I have a drawer where I keep gloves, scarves, woolen socks, and other winter apparel. Because fresher wether is aproaching I browsed a little through it and found these armwarmers

I knitted these two winters ago, and forgot about them. They are too long, stuffing all that length under your sweater sleeve isn't very comfortable, but I like the idea, so I'm knitting another pair, shorter, with the yarn I had left over from my skew.
